So last week I actually did some housework, and I don't mean just the usual washing up and stuff. I spent a few hours each day sorting out upstairs.

The spare bedroom is properly useable now, not sure when it will be used yet, but I know if Visas are sorted then I will have two lovely young ladies spending a week sleeping in the room come April.
And the library is sorted. Books mostly organised but all on the bookcases. All the boxes have been put away under the beds. I think I did a good job.
Now I just have to do under the stairs so the band's PA equipment has somewhere to live after the boys' leave their flat in March.

It was good to get it all done. It needed doing and has been put off for so long. But it was nice to come home to a relatively tidy house form a weekend in Leeds.

2011.

I haven't made any new year resolutions. I don't tend to because I never seem to keep them. Though I am hoping to lose weight this year. I have a number in mind but Will isn't too sure about it.
But as long as I haven't put on any weight by July I'll be fine.

I hope gaining 2 sisters this year won't mean I lose 2 brothers, but I guess we will wait and see.

Greetings, GT!
A friend of mine, Virginia from Wimberly, attended recent your concert in Austin and was blown away. Apparently, she mentioned about me to you, and she suggested to me that I make contact with you to explore possibilities of collaborating . I am a professional sitar player since 20 years. I sing a bit too and am always delighted to work with luminous souls.

I understand you leave Austin very soon. Perhaps we could meet sometime tomorrow (Tuesday)?

Hope to hear from you. If not, will call you in the morning.

Yours in music and peace, Amie

I think I've realised I don't like change.
Its more of the fact with people moving away or growing up in a sense.
I know people change and move on and they need to. But in doing that I don't see them, I know nothing about their life and I don't talk to them.

My sister-in-law, her hubby and 2 kids are down for the week. They go back to Scotland wednesday morning. Its always a tough week when they are down. I generally end up having at least one texting session with her while she's down. Sometiems its to do with how bad her hubby is at times, and this time its do with the fact that her mum is feeling down a bit and she thinks she's down something to piss her off. I said it was probably to do with the kids being around and other such things and the fact that she doesn't want to step in and discipline the kids because she isn't the mum. But its hard seeing your daughter and son-in=law not really doing alot to stop them messing around. Mum was joking that she'd phone my mum for the wooden spoon. I can't imagine the spoon being used on the kids but it might sort them out. They run riot every evening they are here and probably at home but here just seems different.

I just never know how to put politely what i wanna say but there's not alot i can do. Its up to her what she thinks and how she takes it.

Oh well. We're spending some time tomorrow just the two of us hopefully, so we might be able to haave a proper talk then

So far this evening Will has managed to get in touch with 2 people about our boiler. One said he was busy tomorrow but wasn't sure if his dad was. And the other being a big company said it'd cost £65 for the first half hour the guy is over and £55 for every half hour on top, plus then the cost of parts. How ridiculous is that?!

Anyway, we wait til the morning to try again.

I'm never really sure what to put in my blog. There are some things that I don't feel like I can write as I don't know who reads it, but which I put in my letters to aa certain someone (Sorry once more for dumping on you darling). But maybe I just need to say them.

I feel like I've lost or am losing my brothers and my friends. Its not entirely their fault, its mine as well.

Holiday could be cancelled if we can't find anywhere to stay thats cheap and easy to get to which is a shame as I was looking forward to it.

Will didn't get the job at Hackney.

Steve and Andy aren't around for my birthday this year. Is it wrong to want them around?

And the first gig that Starting Over play in over a year I won't be around to see.

Well the good news is dad has got my tex bill down to £88. And Will sold a brand new iPhone for £270 which means I can pay mt Tax bill and my National Insurance.

The bad news is that Will has gone in and over his Overdraft... So whats left of the £270 and everything else in my account will be transferred into his.

Well I finally filled in my Tax Return online... ok Will did.
And it said I need to pay £318.60 by the 31st January. Which is all well and good except for the fact that I don't have that and neither does Will. We don't even have any savings.

Anyway, Dad now seems to think that we've done it wrong and shouldn't have to pay that much or any at all. So he's gonna have a look at it tonight, hopefully, and see whats happened. So there's the possibility that I won't, but still the chance that I will have to pay and only the Lord knows how thats gonna happen.

Today has been a different day. It was the first Christmas that me and Will hosted, with both families together. It was a little weird, as we are two quite different families. It seemed to work and all seemed to enjoy themselves.

The food was cooked - the veg was a little cold but nevermind.

Pressie giving was a little odd as a lack of money on our part, and my family not knowing if or what they should get Will's family.

We played Buzz which was quite cool. Got my mum+dad playing. Mum was glad she didn't come last, and thats only cos she stole some points of dad.

We got to see Strictly Come Dancing and Doctor Who. Very cool.

Ain't it cool?
Its a little but broken but should be fixed when Will has time

I have Will to thank for this. And I'm sure if any of you reading this would like something equally impressive then Will is waiting for your call.

Why does writing a letter hurt some times and things come out that you wouldn't have thought to write about?

Its amazing, well maybe not amazing, how writing to two different people who you know and love brings out different sides. I'm not sure how to handle it. But I won't stop writing, well I hope I won't. I'm hoping that writing letters will brin gback the creativity of poems, so far it hasn't, but I think it might in time.

I just want to apologise to Rach for not writing her a letter lately. Not really sure why, but I haven't.

Moni has lost weight. Me and mum told Sylv on thursday and between us we are working on getting Moni to eat and trying to think/pray for the answers. Though she did eat most of her lunch on thursday, all of her dinner and most of her breakfast on friday. Hopefully she can keep it up.

Hug on thursday will be different, the plan is to stuff envelopes for FMT, hopefully, if we can get the giftaid forms sorted (waiting to hear from Roger). If we don't hear from him, Will is gonna get them printed and if Roger can't do them and get them to us then Will is. So I need everyone available on thusrday for envelope stuffing, please.

The rent has been sorted.... We will now be paying it on the 18th of every month instead of the 3rd. So that is good. We're getting there slowly. Willl opened a savers account and put £10 in and is believing by faith that it will multiply.

I'm having to learn how to seriously trust in the Lord. We've hit a problem with money this month. We don't have enough to pay the rent. And Will's boss isn't bothering to sort his job description and money out. So Will's gonna apply for two different jobs which is more money. Please pray as we'renot sure what to do and we've got to work something out by the end of the week to tell our landlord.

I'm sorry if this comes out wrong, but i'm frustrated, generally with people or maybe its the way they act/don't act.

I dunno how to word all of this, so here goes.

I'm happy to open my house, and have people round, and I'm happy to feed people. But when people say they are willing to help pay for the food and don't I little a tad frustrated. I probably shouldn't, but I am.

Also, I've text people asking them s[ecific questions about food for a certain day, and have not got any replies, so how am I suppose to know what is needed or what they want?

I'm sorry if this if this is not kind, gracious and loving but I can't do that at this precise minute.

Went on a date tonight :)
Will took me to the Slug and Lettuce for dinner, and then to the cinema to see Fame. I enjoyed the film and had a lovely evening.
Dating is good fun.

Not alot of anything to say. But I'm going on a date soon. I've missed going out. Is that wrong?

13:06 Comment0 Comments

I'm tired. I haven't slept the last couple of nights, and i'm heading into a very busy week with at least 2 late nights. Prayer required please.

I currently am sat with a living room full of people who are watching the NFL. There is Mark, Will, Andy, Dan&Jenn, Marriott and me, and we're waiting for Dave.
Not sure if Jenn is enjoying it.

Tomorrow evening I am going to Latimer with Mum, Dad, Sylv and Moni. Hopefully I get to see my friend Richard. Tuesday I have Moni. Wednesday we're all going to Golders Green. Thursday there is HUG in the evening. And Friday I'm out all day with Sylvia.
Sleep is needed.

Today I have cried alot. Mostly because I spent the day watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition. This season they were honouring heroes. And boy were they heroes.

One lady created a business where she takes photos in the ICU of Preemie babies, some of which didn't survive. I just wish that if anything like that happens to my future kids someone will be willing to do the same thing.

The other reasons is because my friends are leaving. I've already lost one of them before, and am now trying to start again.
Letters will follow. The plan is i'm gonna write one ever 2 weeks. Thats the plan, dunno what I'll say if anything. But guys, know that I love you
